Everyone meet the Artola family! I met this family a few weeks ago at a local park, tucked in between the trees. As soon as we were about to leave the park, I HAD to ask them pull over for one last shot! The sky was so bright and pretty!
Ahhh! These brothers were absolutely adorable! They were so eager to share their own stories, so I got to hear a lot about their teachers, their school year and what their summer plans were.
The love they have for their mommy and daddy is so sweet too! Enjoy!
I can’t even begin to tell you the fun that I had with Tyler, Felicia and Freya! And mommy and Freya wore my favorite thing- a tutu! They looked so adorable in their matching outfits.
Freya and I became friends quickly! We collected sticks to make a little campfire, made S’mores over the “fire”, acted like pandas and ate “bamboo” and took a walk together.
At the end of the session Tyler, Felicia and Freya sat down and had a lollipop party! I hung around and snapped some photos having fun. Of course I had a lollipop too that was selected by Freya and we had to compare the colors of our tongues after eating them. Daddy and Freya had a lot of fun pretending to be walruses too.
Enjoy the images and thank you to Tyler, Felicia and Freya for having fun and hanging around the park with me for hours!
Do you want to bring your dog to your session? The answer is YESSS, you can certainly bring your pup. They are apart of your family too, right?!
Say hello to Angie, Ricky & their sweet baby; Jax, a purebred German Shepard. What amazed me about Jax was that he was able to hang around without a leash- are you lucky enough to be able to do that with your dog? Jax was so sweet and just hung close to everyone and joined in on kisses and snuggles.
One final thought- do you ever meet people for the first time and leave them feeling good? That’s how I left this couple- their laughter was contagious and they give off so much positive energy. To Angie & Ricky- thank you, thank you, thank you! You were so much fun to work with!
Amanda and Brendan are high school sweethearts and now have a daughter, Aubrey who is just a little over a year old. She is just the cutest little thing- full of curiosity and smiles and has a deep love for their pug, Eli! She thinks he is just the funniest thing and loves watching him with that bright smile on her face.
As Aubrey wandered the park she explored the water, threw rocks in the water and picked flowers. And then… a teacher’s dream came true- she walked over to her bag and picked up her books! So what did we do? We sat on the grass and let Aubrey read to mommy, daddy and Eli!
Enjoy the images and don’t forget to say goodbye to Aubrey at the end! 😉
I love when families come to sessions and laugh and do things they would typically do together. It makes it fun for everyone, especially the kids. Wyatt and Weston were adorable and had so much fun with mommy and daddy. They got tossed in the air, played hide and go seek around mommy and daddy’s legs and listened to mommy tell stories. Dad’s Yankee hat became the best accessory and toy for Weston and Wyatt as well!
Thank you to Samantha and Joe for having fun and laughing the entire session!
I had such a great time hanging with Taylor, Justin and their beautiful daughter Mila. Mila had so much fun hanging out with both mommy and daddy. Daddy said to Mila in the beginning; “Just be yourself. Do ‘Mila’ things”, I thought; “That is the BEST thing ever”. And sure enough, Mila had a blast running around the park, picking flowers and getting tickled by mommy and daddy. I followed them around the pond while they explored; Daddy picked up turtles and Mila sat on mommy’s shoulders. Enjoy!
A few weeks ago I had an amazing day meeting so many awesome mommies and their little ones. It was such a relaxing day with beautiful, warm weather- warm enough for us to step outside for a few shots in the sunshine. Everyone was so happy to hang out and read books with mommy and it was clear to see how loved all of these moms are. Happy Mother’s Day to all those wonderful mommies out there!

“A mom’s hug lasts long after she lets go.”
“Always love your mother, as you’ll never get another.”
“Out of all the moms in the world, I’m so glad you’re mine.”
Sharing this little sweetie today! Ahhh Ava Rose! Documenting this time was special for me because I’m kind of like an auntie to her… lucky me. =) Not only was it special for me for that reason, but also because I can only imagine how fast this time flies!
There is nothing sweeter than seeing a newborn squirm around and watching those fresh baby smiles. Ava was just a little over a week old in these pictures-it’s hard to believe that she’s already over a month old! And she already looks so different- slow down Ava, we want to enjoy the journey!
Enjoy checking out this cutie and the gorgeous pearls she has from her great grandma.
We started the celebration a few weeks ago by diving into a pretty pink cake made by Erin of You’re The Boss Events. Judging by Aubrey’s facial expressions it must have been a delicious cake!
When I showed up to the shoot, Aubrey was dressed in nothing better than a tutu… everyone knows how I love my tutus! Oh and that sequenced headband- yaaaas- everything I love!
Aubrey just hung around like a natural with her beautiful big blue eyes ready to get her photo taken. Aunt Caitlin and big sister Emma blew some bubbles for us and mommy made sure to keep the smiles coming.
Happy Birthday to Aubrey- may all your wishes come true!
When I look at these pictures I still can’t believe that I was able to capture this precious time for one of my closest friends. It was such an honor to see Lori within her first 48 hours after giving birth- to even attempt to explain the emotions I felt witnessing my friend soak up all the joys of having a newborn is impossible.
Lori was glowing when I entered her hospital room! Knowing how eager I was to meet Ava, she immediately let me soak up some lovin. Ava loved the snuggles and melted into anyone who would hold her. What better way to spend the day?!
I am looking forward to many more snuggles from Ava in the near future. Needless to say, my heart is still swooning.
