One of the last warm days of Autumn I met this wonderful family at the train trestles in Salisbury Mills, New York. Dante, Jackson and Luca love trains so this was perfect location. The sun was shining so brightly and we had beautiful skies. We had such a good time and I felt like I had known this family forever. At the end of the session Jen gave me a big hug and was so thankful… and that my friends, is one of the reasons why I love doing what I do.

Hudson Valley Cake Smash

Abram is ONE!

Growing up being best friends with Allie, I knew her sister and her whole family. When I heard that her sister, Becky was having her first baby I knew Allie would be over the moon! Lucky me- I got to meet Abram right before his first birthday! And let me tell you- he is such a cutie!

Mommy, daddy and Abram traveled from Massachusetts to visit with Nana and Grandpa right before Abram’s first birthday. Mommy told me she wanted to do a “Where the Wild Things Are” theme shoot and I was THRILLED! Who didn’t love that book growing up? Of course I thought it was perfect.

\We set up a teepee (made by Jeremy of @morganmadewoodwork), and surrounded it with pictures of Abram as a baby, had his one year old stats on display, and made sure he had the tail and crown to go along with the theme. And of course we did a cake smash-the very first time Abram had cake!

Happy first birthday to this little man. So glad I got to meet a such a close friend’s little nephew! Thank you to Becky and Adam for trusting me to capture these images!

Noah- Six Month Old Session

Meet Noah! Noah is a six month old handsome little man with big blue eyes! What a fun age to photograph. Noah was so curious and SO aware of his surroundings. He was eager to smile for me and was very curious about what I was doing behind the camera.

The teacher in me was overjoyed with excitement when mommy said; “of course we read with him!”. Woohoo! (must be because both mommy AND daddy are teachers too!) Noah sat on daddy’s lap while having stories read to him. Don’t forget to check out the awesome decor in the nursery… I spied a few elephants! <3

Noah was also SO curious when mommy and daddy placed him in the milk baths… TWO milk baths! How awesome?! One was filled with lemons while the other was fruit loops. Noah loved feeling the fruit and cereal between his toes and loved splashing around.

Happy 6 months to this cutiepatootie! And thank you to Jess & Nick for welcoming me into your home to capture these moments!

The Artola Family

Everyone meet the Artola family! I met this family a few weeks ago at a local park, tucked in between the trees. As soon as we were about to leave the park, I HAD to ask them pull over for one last shot! The sky was so bright and pretty!

Ahhh! These brothers were absolutely adorable! They were so eager to share their own stories, so I got to hear a lot about their teachers, their school year and what their summer plans were.

The love they have for their mommy and daddy is so sweet too! Enjoy!

Tyler, Felicia & Freya

I can’t even begin to tell you the fun that I had with Tyler, Felicia and Freya! And mommy and Freya wore my favorite thing- a tutu! They looked so adorable in their matching outfits.

Freya and I became friends quickly! We collected sticks to make a little campfire, made S’mores over the “fire”, acted like pandas and ate “bamboo” and took a walk together.

At the end of the session Tyler, Felicia and Freya sat down and had a lollipop party! I hung around and snapped some photos having fun. Of course I had a lollipop too that was selected by Freya and we had to compare the colors of our tongues after eating them. Daddy and Freya had a lot of fun pretending to be walruses too.

Samantha, Joe, Wyatt & Weston

I love when families come to sessions and laugh and do things they would typically do together. It makes it fun for everyone, especially the kids. Wyatt and Weston were adorable and had so much fun with mommy and daddy. They got tossed in the air, played hide and go seek around mommy and daddy’s legs and listened to mommy tell stories. Dad’s Yankee hat became the best accessory and toy for Weston and Wyatt as well!

Mommy & Me Mini Sessions

A few weeks ago I had an amazing day meeting so many awesome mommies and their little ones. It was such a relaxing day with beautiful, warm weather- warm enough for us to step outside for a few shots in the sunshine. Everyone was so happy to hang out and read books with mommy and it was clear to see how loved all of these moms are. Happy Mother’s Day to all those wonderful mommies out there!
